"Navigate..."

The other day we decided to go for a drive.  Joe pushes the button on his phone and speaks into it, "Navigate to Alpine Loop Utah."  Yaay, I've never been on the Alpine Loop and have always wanted to go.  I was so excited.

The "navigator" guided us on to the freeway heading southbound on I-15.  Joe says, "That's weird, I swear it's the other way.  Maybe it's taking us to the other end of it."  So off we go.  We end up down near the Provo Canyon.  The whole time Joe says, "I don't think this is right, but let's see where it takes us."  We are almost to our destination when we run into detours.  We follow the detours, while our "navigator" recalculates with every turn.  We end up on a road and the next turn is the Alpine Loop.  We make the final turn and the "navigator" says, "You have reached your destination."  We both looked at each other and just laughed like crazy!  We were in a little neighborhood, and the street lasted about a block.  It was a loop though!  Ha ha ha ha!

Maybe we'll try to find the REAL Alpine Loop again soon.
